Vassiliki “Voula” Papadimitriou, born in 1939 in Greece, died on May 2, 2020 in Athens, Greece. She was the mother of singer and founder of Motley Crue, Tommy Lee. Her daughter Elizabeth was a doctor and a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist. In addition to her work as a physician, she worked as a project manager for a Greek hospital and as a pediatrician, and is also working as a researcher. She was a model and competed in a beauty pageant in 1957. After her modeling career, she pursued a career as a pediatrician. Besides her work as a doctor, she has special interests in obesity, asthma, and Down’s Syndrome.

Her father was a sergeant in the United States Army, and her mother was a contestant in the 1957 Miss Greece beauty pageant. She was married to David Oliver Bass. When her husband passed away, she moved to the United States, and was later joined by her son, Tommy Lee.
